Welcome Accelerator Reliability Workshop 2019

The 7th Accelerator Reliability Workshop, ARW 2019, will take place in the beautiful and historic city of Guangzhou, China, from November 11 to November 15, 2019. ARW 2019 is hosted by CSNS of IHEP, and will follow in the tradition of successful workshops started by the ESRF (Grenoble 2002), TRIUMF (Vancouver 2009), iThemba (Cape Town 2011), the Australian Synchrotron (Melbourne 2013), SNS (Knoxville 2015) and SOLEIL (Versailles 2017).

The ARW provides a venue for individuals from accelerator communities worldwide to meet and share their experiences on operating reliable facilities. The workshop fulfills the need to improve information exchange on technical issues and equipment reliability.

The technical program will feature renowned international experts, with over 100 talks and posters anticipated, addressing major themes. An afternoon will be spent touring the China spallation neutron source, a brand new facility which is just open to users in 2018. It will give you the opportunity to discuss various parts of the machine with the engineers, scientists and technicians who are responsible for building and maintaining it. Lastly, the Workshop's social activities will showcase the fascinating Chinese history, culture and food, as you experience the hospitality and friendship.
